Cookbooks Read in 2008:
1. Crazy About Cupcakes – Very awesome. I haven’t tried any recipe yet but they look amazing and seem to be great recipes. I bought the book the week after I got it out of the library. It was too good not to have on my shelf.
2. Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World: 75 Dairy-Free Recipes for Cupcakes that Rule – Very awesome. The idea is wonderful and even my dear Chockylit gave her own recipe to the book! But, I don’t really care for Vegan cupcakes. There are a couple that I will give a go though (Margarita Cupcakes here I come!)
3. Quick & Easy Vietnamese: 75 Everyday Recipes – Does not seem so quick and easy but I still am excited to try out a few of the recipes.
4. The Everything Thai Cookbook – Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! I made 3 recipes from it and all turned out yummy! This is such a keeper!
5. The Martha Stewart Living Cookbook: The New Classics -
6. About Professional Baking: The Essentials (Trade Version) – Wonderful! Definately a recourse you want on your shelf!
7. The Professional Pastry Chef: Fundamentals of Baking and Pastry, 4th Edition -
8. The Petit Appetit Cookbook – Ok. I prefer Feeding the Whole Family
.
9. The Well-Decorated Cake – An amazing reference book. I plan on buying it in the future when I have moved on from buttercreams to fondant but in the mean time she has some superb recipes in the back of the book and they are worth buying the whole book for!
