So, a few weeks ago I DVR’d Camp Rock for my sister who is in love with both Disney and the Jo Bros. I decided to watch the flick with her and was happily surprised. The cheese was heavy but it maintained a level of cuteness that brought down the cheese to an acceptable level.
I knew Boaz would love it.
As a rare treat I decided to let him watch the movie and that was really a bad idea. Everyday now “RRRRRRRock!”. He asks to watch the movie from when he gets up until I let him watch it (usually after his nap).
There is a very hilarious scene where Joe Jonas does a dance routine with a hat. One day, while watching the scene for the 232487th time, Boaz started dancing too. Better yet, he grabbed one of his hats and did the dance lifting it off his head in synchronized with Joe. Awesome.
I videoed him doing his dance and when I was uploading the it today I went through all the other videos we had online and I found this:
Both Mike and I got teary after watching it. Was he really that small? It’s amazing to watch because he still has those little nuances like his bashful smile and how he shyly hides of his face. It’s just such a blessing to our hearts to have these memories on film. Things that we would have otherwise forgotten but are so touching and lovely.
And you can’t forget him dancing to “The Way I Are” here.
But without further adieu, the Hat Dance:
